Posted by Ed:
NoScript has been running great since I upgraded to 1.1.4.8 It no longer reloads the page when I disallow a script from running. Much improved. Thank you to Giorgio for the advice.

Giorgio,
You were right about the version, I installed 1.1.4.8 and will give it an honest try. Thanks for your post.

Ed, you're probably using 1.1.4.7 from addons.mozilla.org, which is known to cause issues with some form submits.

Please upgrade to latest stable or development version from http://noscript.net/getit#direct

Cheers :)

Ed I can't argue with your logic. You have evaluated your risks and made your choice.

Recently NoScript has become more granular and has been enhanced to allow it to better learn your desires. I sit here allowing your site, but blocking google-analytics.com, wordpress.com, snap.com and quantserve.com, and I can still post this.

The new black list allows me to always block some sites, and as I visit sites regularly I can add them as I see fit to my whitelist while limiting the number of cross site scripting (XSS) attacks against my computer.

Does it take a while to "train" NoScript yes, is it worth it to everyone? No, but for those like me, and Ed it adds value.

P.S. I have used Site Advisor since before Mcaffe purchased it, and still use the free version it aid in making those "blind google searches" safer.

P.P.S. A highlight copy and paste eliminates lost postings.
